Why reuse it?
As sustainability is very important to us, we decided to pack It’s On plastic-free. Paper initially seemed like a smart solution. However, this would have to be coated on the inside because of the oils in the product and was therefore out of the question for us. So the choice fell on a metal screw-top jar. Our first choice was a tinplate can. However, it quickly became apparent that this is very susceptible to rust by the sea and especially in the tropics. In the end, we therefore opted for aluminum packaging. This does not rust and is ideal for our zinc paste.
However, the production of aluminum is energy-intensive and has a negative impact on the environment. It therefore makes sense to recycle the empty can properly or, even better, to reuse it.

How to reuse?
Clean your empty tin, then there are many possible uses for a screw-top jar that is suitable for cosmetics and food. There are no limits to your creativity. If you need a little kick-start, you can also find a some inspiration from our site here.
